This toolkit of resources I've found useful is aimed at fanfic and fanwriters, and specifically at Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis fanfic and fanwriters. Descriptions in italics are quotes from the sites linked. All other descriptive text is mine. Some links are listed in multiple categories.

Lingro: an on-line environment that allows anyone learning a language to quickly look up and learn the vocabulary most important to them.

Formatting

**Fanfic-conversion macros: This is a casual but useful set of Microsoft Word macros for converting doc files into clean HTML files (as opposed to the awful bloated versions created by Word's "Save As HTML") or into plain text files ready to paste into an LJ post or upload to an Automated Archive style archive (ie, with formatting tags but not paragraph breaks).

**Tips for formatting italics in Word for posting online: I figured I'd share the method I eventually found for converting italics and such into HTML tags suitable for posting on LJ

**The Fan Rated Rating System: a system by which webmasters/webmistresses can rate the stories in their archive, without risk of breaking any laws by using the default ones as used by Movies and TV Shows
